Congratulations to the Quarry Bank church choir whose lockdown recordings helped Black Country Radio win Community Show of the Year in the annual Community Radio Awards.
Around 200 people from across Worcester gathered together on Monday evening to discuss how they could work together to make the city a better place to live and work.

Bishop Martin is supporting a campaign calling for churches to take a more sustainable approach to flower arranging and whenever possible, stop using floral foam in their displays.
Five people from parishes across the Diocese were admitted to the office of Reader on Saturday. Bishop Martin conducted the service, licensing the individuals to minister in the parishes they have been called to serve.
19 people have received a certificate from Bishop John to mark the completion of their courses to become ALMs. The special service at the Cathedral was a celebration of this form of lay ministry.
St John the Baptist in Suckley has received a £10,000 grant from the National Churches Trust.
Throughout Autumn, Bishop Martin will be journeying around the diocese in a pilgrimage of prayer and hope, spending two days in each of our deaneries and visiting as many churches as possible.
The theme of this year’s Heritage Open Days is ‘Edible England’ and Top Church in Dudley is embracing this with a day of activities all around bread!
