Collaboration enables new youth group in Evesham
Published: 30th April 2024‘YouNite’ is a new youth group for 10 to 18-year-olds in Evesham which has been set up as an ecumenical collaboration between different churches in the town. It is currently attracting around 25 young people each Friday evening.
New Regional Racial Justice Director
Published: 29th April 2024The Revd Dr Evie Vernon O’Brien has been appointed as the Racial Justice Director for the Church of England in the West Midlands. In the first collaborative project of its kind, from July Evie will work across six dioceses.
Flyfords Walking Church
Published: 29th April 2024A small group from the Flyfords group of Churches, just outside Pershore, met on 28 April for their first walking church.
Supporting other parishes
Published: 25th April 2024A number of churches across the Diocese overpay their Ministry Share as a way of supporting other parishes, with these extra contributions forming part of the Ministry Support Fund.
