People from churches across the Diocese gathered together in the Cathedral to celebrate the life of our smaller churches. Churches with 20 or fewer active members make up 45% of our churches and play an important role in their communities.

Preaching on St Oswald

Celebrating St Wulfstan

Sunday 19 January is the feast of St Wulfstan, the 11th century Bishop of Worcester who was responsible for a major rebuild of the Cathedral. Dean of Worcester, Stephen Edwards suggests visiting the Cathedral to give thanks for his holy life.

In[Visible] Exhibition Marks Sixteen Days of Activism

38 Confirmed in the Cathedral

An incredible 38 candidates were confirmed by Bishop Martin in the Cathedral on the feast of Christ the King on Sunday. Eight of the candidates were also baptised during the service, while a further two people were baptised but not confirmed.

Farmers harvest thanksgiving in the Cathedral

The Worcestershire Farmers’ Harvest Thanksgiving took place in Worcester Cathedral on Sunday. People from across the county gathered to give thanks for the farmers who ensure we have food on our plates, as well as to celebrate rural life in general.
