        A set of postcards, which can be used in parishes to help facilitate conversations about faith will shortly be distributed with the prayer diary.
 
                            
                    The clergy housing team have recently worked on Harvington Rectory following the departure of the Rector there after 24 years in post. The team had just three months to prepare the house before the new Rector and his family moved in.
 
                            
                    The long-awaited restoration of the landmark spire at St John’s Church in Bromsgrove has been completed, with the re-gilded weathervane cockerel returning to its lofty perch to enjoy the view for decades to come,
 
                            
                    Red Hill CE Primary and St Martin’s Church, London Road, Worcester have received a silver Church and School Partnership Award. It was presented to them by Archdeacon Mark and Diocesan Director of Education, Tim Reid in a special service in the church.
 
                            
                    Each October, churches are asked to count the numbers of children and adults attending different services to feed into the Church of England’s Statistics for Mission which need to be submitted before the end of January.
 
                            
                    Clergy and others gathered at St Helen’s Church in Worcester for a day on exploring the mission opportunities of new housing developments. Speakers spoke about the process that new developments go through, how churches can get involved and different ways in which churches can come alongside those in new homes and help to build community.
 
                            
                    Former Corporate HR Manager, Grace Wrigglesworth, has been Operations Manager for Kingswinford parish for just over a year and her work is already making a difference to the whole Kingswinford community about which she is so passionate.

                    Sunday 16 November is Safeguarding Sunday and on this day as well as over the following weeks, thousands of churches from diverse backgrounds and traditions will join together to shout about safeguarding and help protect vulnerable people.

                    Faith at Work in Worcestershire (FWW) is an independent ecumenical charity which exists to encourage and support local churches in their ministry to those in work. The charity supports around 20 volunteers who offer chaplaincy to local businesses, working particularly in the retail sector and Worcester Livestock Market.
 
                            
                    A wide selection of goods has been donated by the congregation of Christ Church Lye at the recent Harvest celebration, which will be donated to the Black Country Foodbank.
 
                            
                    Six people from parishes across the Diocese were admitted to the office of Reader on Saturday in Worcester Cathedral. The Bishop of Dudley, Martin Gorick, conducted the service, licensing the individuals to minister in the parishes they have been called to serve.
 
                            
                    Each September, the churches in the Halas Team in Halesowen come together for ‘HalasFest’, a joint service which celebrates the whole team and all they are doing in their communities. This year they were joined by Bishop Martin who was able to dedicate a set of new toilets which have recently been built inside the church.
 
                            
                    As plans for the Redditch Mission Area begin to come together and new roles are being recruited for, churches across Redditch will be coming together to pray on Tuesday 23 September, at 7pm at St. John's Church Hall, Greenlands.
 
                            
                    During Black History Month this year, the diocesan Racial Justice Forum is recommending the book, ‘Black Voices on Britain’ edited by Hakim Adi.
 
                            
                    St Barnabas' Church, Rainbow Hill in Worcester, opened all day on Wednesday 3 September to pray for all those returning to school.
