The General Synod election has now closed and the votes have been counted. Find out who our six representatives for the next five years will be.
The CYD team will be changing in September as Project Director, Ruth Walker, steps down & two new Mission Enablers start, replacing Adam Legge who left in July & as maternity leave cover for Amy Stokes.
Have you considered standing for election to the General Synod for the next five-year term? Standing for the legislative body of the Church of England is an opportunity to represent your community & your diocese at a national level.
Mark Wild will leave his role as Diocesan Surveyor at the end of August.
The Revd Christine Holzapfel has been appointed as Adviser for the Ministry of Healing. She will work with those with an interest in this area to offer encouragement, support & advice to.
Jacqueline Humphreys, a Barrister in Bristol, has been appointed as our new Chancellor. The appointment was made by Bishop John following the approval of the Lord Chancellor.
Our Archdeacons, along with Bishop Martin, will be taking on slightly different responsibilities over the coming months as the diocesan restructuring process moves forward following the Open Conversations earlier in the year.
