First gold Church and School Partnership Award

Epiphany Blessing for 2026

Bringing the community together through iSing Blakedown

A new service for families has been launched at St James’ the Great Church in Blakedown, just outside of Kidderminster, using iSingPOP songs and the PopBox resource. The launch event for iSing Blakedown last Sunday attracted 18 children and around 40 adults to the small church.

Diocesan office staff volunteer at ‘bigger than ever’ Toy Appeal

The Redditch Toy Appeal organised by the Redditch Mission Area has helped provide Christmas presents for over 1000 children this year! With more referred than ever before, staff from the diocesan team, including Archdeacon Nikki volunteered to help.

1000s join the ‘peg nativity’ at Great Malvern Priory

Great Malvern Priory are encouraging people to be part of the Christmas story this year by decorating a peg person to add to the church’s nativity scene. So far 1500 peg dolls have been decorated by people visiting the Priory and it’s hoped there will be lots more before the parish nativity service on 21 December.

Welcome Directory

The Welcome Directory is a multi-faith charity working to empower faith and belief communities to offer a safe and lasting welcome to prison leavers. Stepping beyond the prison gates is an incredibly challenging experience and too many people feel isolated and alone. The ethos behind the Welcome Directory is that every person deserves to belong.

Puddings and Prayers in Evesham

A special event organised by Evesham Curate, Prajna Pal-Lad with support from Evesham Welcomes Refugees, saw people from across the globe who now live in Evesham sharing their favourite puddings at All Saints’ Church.

A school partnership means a warm winter for St Peter’s Church

Northleigh Primary School has provided the congregation of St Peter’s Church with a warm home this Winter. The church will be using the school hall for its Sunday worship during the Winter months creating a warm and welcoming space while a new heating system is installed in the church.
