Franciscan Peace Pilgrimage reaches the Cathedral

Franciscan pilgrims have been journeying from Almouth to London to mark the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis. This week they have been journeying through our diocese and today they reached the Cathedral where they spent the day.

Pilgrimage activity day in Wyre Forest West

Inspired by the Church of England’s “Pilgrim People, Holy lives” campaign, 22 children came to Bayton Church to learn about pilgrimage and enjoy a virtual pilgrimage activity, following in the footsteps of five Saints; St. Cedd, St. Frideswide, St Etheldreda, St Bertha and St Alcuin.
