The Bishop of Worcester reflects on the lessons we can learn from the past for our present situation. The determination to build a land fit for heroes led to the creation of the NHS we are all committed to protect and support today. As he greets everyone for VE day, Bishop John prays that we will make the most of the present crisis, and the renewal of community feeling, to ensure everyone in our society is truly valued.
