The Bible tells us that everyone has a part to play in God’s world – working together to make a caring community. This heart-warming story colourfully demonstrates that loving and caring for others also makes us feel happy and loved.
Expressing our love and affection to others motivates children to do the same. Loving others also involves serving them. When we love others, we do things for them without expecting anything in return.
We do things we may not like to do and that will cost or inconvenience us, in some way.
Making a caring community is important for toddler groups as these are places where parents/carers can support, love and serve each other.
