Shoeboxes full of toys and gifts have been donated by Christ Church Lye to help children facing difficult situations around the world.
Parishes across the Diocese working with Kirsty Pierson from iSingPOP this year, have reported how much this support has helped them reach new families and children. Following this the pilot has been extended to see how this initial success can be further embedded and built on.
The West Midlands Racial Justice Initiative (WMRJI) has announced the appointment of Dawn Brathwaite as the new Chair of the Regional Board, succeeding Dean Andrew Zihni.

Recent months have seen significant changes in our partner Diocese of Peru. Back in May, Victor Condori was elected as Bishop Coadjutor in the diocese and on Saturday 30 August, he was consecrated in the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in Lima.
St Mary’s Church in Hanley Castle, just outside Upton on Severn in the south of our diocese has become the first church in the Diocese to achieve a gold Eco Church award, which was recently confirmed following a visit from the A Rocha assessment team!
The Revd Pasis Simon was one of the first women to be ordained in our partner Diocese of Morogoro in Tanzania. She teaches at the Morogoro Bible College. She is also responsible for a Maasai church plant about two hours from Morogoro town, to which she travels every Sunday to lead worship.

At the service to ordain priests last weekend, Bishop Martin and Bishop Bettina from the Evangelical Church of Central Germany recommitted to our partnership by signing a new partnership agreement.
