Lunchtime Learning - Holding on to Hope for Creation
We can sing "All my hope on God is founded" but what does this mean when the news and forecasts about climate change and environmental destruction are so bad?  How do we distinguish hope from wishful thinking or escapism?  Does St Paul's enigmatic "hoping against hope" (Romans 4.18) provide a clue to help us think more deeply about Christian Hope in the face of crisis?  This session will explore these and similar questions.
