The Bible and Ministry (Online)

This event is firstly for new ALMs, but is open to existing ALMs and anyone else who is interested. (New ALMs are asked to complete sessions on the Bible, the Creeds, and Spirituality after they’re authorised, and this is the session on the Bible.)

In this session, we will explore an overview of the Bible, first of all looking at its many different books, how they came to be, and how they got collected together. Then we will go on to explore the overarching story of scripture, and how it anchors our ministry. Finally (time permitting) we will look at some of the ways we read it.

There are two sessions available, one in person and one on Zoom.  There is more space in the morning session for questions and discussion (in person), but the online evening session is kept within a fairly tight 90 minute time limit.
