DBE: Nurturing Relationships Between Church & School: Part 1

Establishing and maintaining strong effective relationships between the local church and school, has far reaching benefits to the community as a whole. This mutual relationship can support both the church and school community to flourish. Effective relationships between church and school are ones which go beyond Collective Worship and begin to look at a shared vision for the community. In this course, we will explore how to build strong relationships, as well as look at activities that church, and school can do together in order to support the flourishing of all.

This is a two-part course designed to help church and school work closely together. Part two will be held on Thursday 12th March 2026.

Part 1 is designed for clergy only and to set out the role of church schools and look at how our relationship fits with the 5 marks of mission.
