New Vicar in the Malvern Chase Team Ministry

Bishop John is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Emily Spencer as Vicar in the Malvern Chase Team Ministry.

Emily is currently serving as Assistant Curate at Knowle Parish Church in the Diocese of Birmingham.

Prior to ordination, Emily taught English as a Second Language in Birmingham and worked for the Christian charity, Friends International.

Bishop Martin will license Emily Spencer on Sunday 6 October at 6.30pm at St Andrew’s Church in Malvern.

Please remember Emily in your prayers as she prepares to move.

Diocesan Small Churches Choir

At the celebration service for small churches service held in the Cathedral last May, a number of singers expressed a wish to be able to sing together more often. Mark and Linda Blackwell from Fladbury (Nr Evesham) felt called to use their experience to try to set up a choir made up from singers from the small churches across the Diocese to sing at occasional services at Worcester and other cathedrals.
