People sitting eating lunch in Wyre PiddleSt Anne’s church in Wyre Piddle hosted a very happy lunch get-together last Thursday in their village hall in support of the Friends of the Holy Land.

They welcomed 33 or so from across the Five Alive parish, together consuming five large pans of home-made soup!

The Revd Sue Oliver, trustee of the Friends of the Holy Land - explained how this UK based charity ensures that any funds raised reach the charity base office. £450 was raised in today and the parish are grateful for all the support given at Easter time.
