Holland House interfaith picnic 2018

This year's Holland House picnic was attended by eight different religions.

Warden, Ian Spencer, said:

Food at Interfaith picnic 2018"Holland Houseruns three Interfaith events every year - a day on faith & publicpolicy, Faith to Faith: themed discussions on aspects offaith, and of course the great social event; the Holland Housemulti-faith summer picnic. These events are a tangible sign of our intent to live in harmony with one another, respecting and honouring one another's traditions and beliefs. They are a great blessing for both HollandHouse, Worcester Interfaith Forum and the Diocese, and of course the manythousands of people they represent living in Worcester and further afield. As Bishop Johnonce said "the survival of the human race and planet" is dependent on"this crucial work" ....I don't think that is anexaggeration."

Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Tricia Bradbury attended the picnic and said:

Guests at Interfaith picnic 2018"I much enjoyed attending the Multi Faith picnic on behalf of the Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire. There was a real sense of celebration as so many diverse communities from numerous faith traditions came together in the beautiful grounds of Holland House to enjoy the sunshine, the friendships, the delicious vegan buffet, the treasure hunt, the displays from different faiths including learning how to wear headscarves plus henna painting, and, of course, the music and singing. Many congratulations to all those involved in the planning and preparations for such a successful day."
