Glenn Reading to be Rector of the ARCH Benefice

Head and shoulders photo of Glenn Reading standing in front of an open door leading out into a gardenBishop Martin has announced the appointment of the Revd Glenn Reading as Rector of the Benefice of Church Lench w Rous Lench & Abbots Morton & Harvington (ARCH Benefice) in Pershore & Evesham Deanery.

Glenn is currently Team Vicar in the Benefice of Christ the King, Redditch.  He is married to Helen and they have five children: Phoebe, Toby, Edward, Henry and Thomas.

Bishop Robert Paterson, on behalf of the Acting Bishop of Worcester, will institute Glenn  at 3pm on Sunday 23 November.   

Please remember Glenn and Helen and their family in your prayers at they prepare to move.

Diocesan Small Churches Choir

11th November 2025

At the celebration service for small churches service held in the Cathedral last May, a number of singers expressed a wish to be able to sing together more often. Mark and Linda Blackwell from Fladbury (Nr Evesham) felt called to use their experience to try to set up a choir made up from singers from the small churches across the Diocese to sing at occasional services at Worcester and other cathedrals.
