Bishop Martin is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Giles Joiner as Team Vicar in the Benefice of Gornal and Sedgley.
Giles is currently Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Droitwich, and Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree (The Saltway Team).
He is married to Steph, a clinical nurse specialist at a hospice in Wolverhampton and they have two young children, aged six and three respectively.
Prior to ordination, Giles worked at Worcester Crown Court as a Court Usher and then as a Jury Officer.
Bishop Anne Hollinghurst will license Giles at 4.00 pm on Sunday 21 September at All Saints, Sedgley.
