Flyfords Walking Church

Published: 29th April 2024

A selfie of a group of people who are part of Flyfords Walking ChurchA small group from the Flyfords group of Churches, just outside Pershore, met on 28 April for their first walking church.

They took a walk around Grafton Flyford to explore God's message for us in creation.  They stopped for prayers and a bible reading and talked about the reading as they walked.

ALM Gill Jubb said:

"We considered how Jesus had walked and talked with others throughout his ministry and decided that this was a reflective and spiritual way of "doing" church.

"Others joined us after the walk for tea and cake which we felt we had deserved.  We will be looking at repeating the service, hopefully when it is not raining!"
