Discerning a vision in Pershore & Evesham Deanery

People gathered at the deanery meetingPershore & Evesham Deanery recently held a discussion meeting led by the Revd Alison Maddocks, Dean of Smaller Churches, looking at "Our Vision of Church & Resourcing Ministry for this Deanery" at All Saints Church, Evesham.

The meeting was very well attended with 95 people coming along to share their views.

Discussions in Pershore & Evesham deaneryThey were asked to consider what is needed to be a healthy church, what the church will look like in 5 years' time, and how to develop a culture of thinking beyond benefice boundaries?

Plenty of suggestions were put forward and the Deanery Synod will now be tasked with taking these ideas forward and develop a strategy for future development.
