School Effectiveness Support

School Effectiveness Support Service Level Agreement (SLA)

The Worcester Diocesan Education Team provides a School Effectiveness Support SLA, which is available to all church, faith and community schools. The services which it contains have been developed in response to a growing need within schools for trustworthy, challenging, robust and compassionate support, in a wide range of school improvement areas.

Our ambition is for all children to access the quality of education they need and deserve. By enabling and developing strong school leadership through bespoke support, we work in partnership with schools to bring about the best possible education for children and young people.

All school effectiveness packages and services are non-profit making and have been priced to solely cover costs. Further information on school effectiveness support procedures, packages and pricing is available within the School Effectiveness Support SLA, located under the 'Related attachments' tab below.

Please contact Laura Farmer by telephone on 01905 732 825, or by email on lfarmer@cofe-worcester.org.uk, if you would like to discuss our school effectiveness support services in further detail.

Further information on training is set out in our diocesan Training and Support SLA, which is available on our Training and Support webpage (accessible using the navigation column on the left).

Collaboration between Tim Reid (Deputy Diocesan Director of Education) and Jane Howard (Babcock Prime)

The following collaborative packages are available to all church schools within the Diocese of Worcester. These packages are stand-alone and can be purchased independently to the School Effectiveness Support SLA.

Currently, we offer two collaborative packages:

  • Package 1: Sustainable Church School Leadership
    • This package has been designed to empower headteachers and senior leaders with the means to secure effective teaching, learning and self-evaluation. Securing pedagogical leadership at all levels is a key challenge for many schools and this course provides the opportunity to further develop the skills and understanding to do this effectively.
  • Package 2: Quality First Teaching and Learning
    • This package consists of three twilight training sessions, to develop the use of: sequences of learning, learning objectives and success criteria. Senior leaders, middle leaders, core subject leaders and teaching staff would all find these sessions beneficial.

Further information on these packages, including costs, are available within the School Effectiveness Training Packages flyer under the 'Related attachments' tab below.

Please contact Laura Farmer, using the contact details above, to book a place for either Package.
