Calendar

Diocesan events and training are displayed here. This calendar will also display events submitted from parishes across the Diocese and occasionally third party events where we believe there might be a wider interest. Lunchtime Learning - Faith in a time of Climate Crisis
In this Lunchtime Learning session, Revd Dr Robin Parry will talk about some of the key issues he explores in his book. He says that what Christianity has to offer is a distinctive spirituality, one that provides a rich rationale for creation care, principles to guide it, and the resources to empower, equip, and form people to walk the pathway with resilience. He argues for a slow spirituality, one that helps us reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world as we learn what it means to inhabit creation as creatures, living alongside other creatures, with faces turned towards our Creator.
