Summary:
We seek an Anglo Catholic Mission Priest for our parish and genuinely want the person appointed to exercise the ministry which God has called them to, as we journey alongside them.
Location:
Parish of Kingswinford
Job description:
We hope for someone who can challenge us, theologically and prayerfully, to reach out to those parts of our parish currently untouched by our churches; someone who can develop and lead new worshipping communities and support our Children and Families Worker in bringing children and their families to faith. We want someone who has a heart for inclusive theology to be part of the next page in this parish’s long history.
We are a sacramental church and want someone to fully engage with this ministry in its broadest sense to show people the mystery and beauty of God in their lives today.
Our new Anglo Catholic Mission Priest will be someone who:
- is sympathetic to Anglo-Catholic theology and practice;
- has proven experience in creative mission and leading incarnational mission initiatives;
- is able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships within the parish community;
- has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- can demonstrate leadership and organisational abilities.
We welcome an application if you would like to be part of this new and exciting stage in our journey, are committed to working with an emerging team, and wish to fully exercise your pioneer ministry.
