Worcester Theological Society meets 1.45 - 3.45pm Thursday 10 January at St Andrew's Methodist Church, Pump Street, Worcester.

The Revd Phillip Johnson speaks on -  “Reconciliation in Christian dialogue – what we say and how we say it, and what Bonhoeffer would make of us” 

Phillip is currently the Vicar of Malvern Link with Cowleigh. He holds undergraduate degrees from City University, The Open University and the University of Oxford. He has an MA in Christian Ministry from the University of Roehampton and won the BIAPT Dissertation prize for his work on the emotional costs of Church Growth. He has recently completed further postgraduate study at the University of Winchester, working with Professor Simon Keyes in the area of Reconciliation and Conflict Transformation. He is hoping to go to Canada on his sabbatical to work with the Anglican church there on reconciliation ministry with indigenous groups. He is currently researching tribes in the Church of England and exploring how different parts of the church use language. He is married to Barbara who is a specialist in the Conservation of the Historic Environment.
