Introduction to Spirituality

Developing children’s spirituality is a key part to helping children to flourish in all that they do in school. The 2018 SIAMS Evaluation Framework requires spirituality to be developed separately from moral, social and cultural education.

This course will consider what spirituality is and help delegates to begin to create a shared common language for spirituality within their school that maintains the integrity of Christianity whilst being inclusive to all faiths and none.

Delegates will also come away with some practical resources about how to develop spirituality within school.
