Mother - a short film depicting Mary as a grandmother

In a short film, artist Kay Mason depicts the mother of Jesus as a grandmother in her 60’s.

In Mary’s monologue or Mary’s Lullaby, memories flood back as she holds her newborn grandson for the first time. She reflects to the time when she became a mother, the challenges the pain and the joy!

There will be the opportunity to take part in a community art piece at the event and contribute reflected words which will turn into a poem.

4 December, 7 - 9pm at St Mary's Church, Kempsey.

Kay is currently studying a Foundation in the Arts degree through Chester University and The Light College Collective.
