DBE: Spirituality in the Curriculum and Beyond

Developing spirituality is a key part to helping children, young people, and adults to flourish in all that they do in school. The current SIAMS Framework requires spiritual development to be an intrinsic
part of the curriculum, enabling pupils and adults the opportunity to flourish both academically and spiritually. Through the framework we also see the importance of finding ways to support pupils’
spiritual development throughout the school, not just through Collective Worship.

In this course we will look at:

• where can spirituality be found in the curriculum
• ideas for developing spirituality in the curriculum and beyond.
