Introduction to the Buildings Management Portal

Date and Time :

As you may have heard by now, a replacement for the Online Faculty System is coming in October. If you have responsibility for your Church building or are a key lead for fabric projects, then you’ll want to join us for this introduction to the new Buildings Management Portal.

The training will address everything you need to know to log List A works, make a successful application for List B (Archdeacon’s) permission or a full Faculty online using the new system. We’ll be able to show you all the steps, from registration, to how to submit an application, including how to upload and organise documents to support your proposals. In addition to the practicalities of the system, we’ll share tips for making successful applications; such as templates that are available to make certain steps of the process easier, and how to arrange photos to best support your proposals.

We will be running this in-person session to supplement those run in June this year -if you attended one of the June sessions, please do not book for this session, as the material will be the same.

If you’d like to attend with others from your PCC or Benefice we would welcome this (provided all parties make an individual booking in advance), as we know that it can be valuable to have another person to discuss queries with when you get back to your Church (though we will of course be on-hand when the new system is introduced).
