Baseline survey and maintenance plan training day

Join this event to understand church buildings and their common maintenance problems; and learn how to survey historic buildings.

A day long event that will enable participants to understand church buildings and common maintenance problems, how to survey historic buildings and then work in small groups to carry out the survey. There may be some hands on maintenance tasks and the survey will create an actual annual maintenance plan.

The event will run all day. We ask that you arrive for 9:30 for a welcome and hot drink. A soup lunch will be provided, and there will be tea and cake in the afternoon. We will aim to finish by 4pm.

Please wear your old/gardening clothes and closed shoes as you will be on your feet most of the day, in the churchyard and maybe up the church tower.
