DBE: Developing an Approach to Spirituality

Developing spirituality is a key part to helping children, young people and adults to flourish in all that they do in school. The current SIAMS Framework requires spirituality to be developed separately from moral, social and cultural education.

This course will consider what spirituality is and help delegates to begin to create a shared common language for spirituality within their school that maintains the integrity of Christianity whilst being inclusive to all faiths and none.

Delegates will also come away with some practical resources about how to develop spirituality within school.

Following this course delegates may find Spirituality in the Curriculum and Beyond on Wednesday 5th March 2025 also of interest. However, each course can be attended as a stand alone session.
