Mission

How does the Church goes about its mission in the 21st century? How can we share the good news of the gospel in a largely secular society?

These are pressing issues facing the Church of England and the Diocese of Worcester today.

Download the Board for Mission's Newsletter:

We believe that the best description of mission is - that God wants the Church to exist for those who are not - or not yet - its members.

The Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Revd Dr Peter Selby, has written a discussion document for parishes on how the church could do its mission in the years ahead - entitled - Looking to the Future .

The diocese is also involved in evangelism and in ecumenical work. Through the work of its Board for Mission the diocese has also linked with the work of the church overseas and with different world faiths.
