Old Palace Library
Contacting the Library
The Old Palace Library is run by volunteers. The Honorary Librarian is the Rev'd Robin Walter and he can be contacted via email at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org (Please note that this account is usually only checked on a weekly basis.)
Visiting the Library
The Library is available when the Old Palace is also open: 9 am – 5 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 9 am to 4.30 pm on a Friday.
The library will be unavailable on Wednesdays due to regular meetings during office hours. If you’re planning to visit, please come at another time. It is always worth ringing the Reception team (01905 20537), even on other days, to ensure the library is accessible when you visit.
When a volunteer is not present, the Library is run by "self service". Full details for borrowing books is given in the Library. If you are not yet a library user, there are also instructions on how to register as a new borrower.
Users may borrow up to four books for four week loans.
Checking Book Availability
A personal visit is the quickest way to find if a book is available. If it is not on the shelf, then please leave a note on the Librarian's desk with your contact details, or email as above.
