The Reverend Bev Jameson, Team Vicar of Droitwich Spa and Salwarpe & Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, became Dean of Women’s Ministry for the Diocese of Worcester in January 2016. She is an official advocate for women priests both locally and nationally whether they are in full-time stipendiary ministry or are self-supporting, learning about and representing their needs as well as facilitating networking and support. She will dedicate two days a month to the role.
Bev previously served a curacy in the Central Telford parish and whilst at Lichfield Diocese she led part of the Pathways to Ministry course. Prior to ordination, she was Corporate Director and Deputy Chief Executive at Oswestry Borough Council. Part of her responsibilities covered Equality and Diversity issues for the council.
The latest meeting of the Women in Ministry Network
The latest Women in Ministry Network Meeting took place on Monday 12 September at the diocesan office in Worcester where Emma Sykes, a Leadership Specialist on the team at CPAS was keynote speaker on the subject of Confidence and Leadership.
