St Thomas' church in Stourbridge are set to run a school uniform bank this summer which will be bigger than ever, expanding across Lye and Tipton. This will help more families in Dudley and Smethwick by providing them with free pre-loved school uniform.
This year St Thomas' church in Stourbridge are working in partnership with the Bangladeshi Women’s Association and the Jubilee Park Community Centre in Tipton. They will also have an additional uniform drop-off and pick-up point at Christ Church in Lye.
Paul Latham said:
“We’re always looking to serve the community and look after our world and this is a great way we can do both. Word has got around about the uniform bank and we are grateful to our partners that their support means we have been able to expand it this year, to more of our communities, helping families in need and reducing waste and emissions.”
Drop off dates – 20 – 24 July, 10am – 2pm at:
- Christ Church, Lye, DY9 8LQ
- Jubilee Community Centre, Tipton, DY4 0RJ
- St Thomas church, Stourbridge, DY8 1AG
Pick–up dates:
- Friday 14 August, 10am - 2pm, Christ Church Lye
- Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August, 10am – 2pm at St Thomas church, Stourbridge
- Monday 24 August, 10am – 2pm at Jubilee Park community centre
