Malvern Link with Cowleigh are blessed to have strong and purposeful connections with their church schools. In preparation for Easter, students from the Art Club at Dyson Perrins CofE High School took time to paint the Stations of the Cross, which were then presented to the parish.
The paintings were used at the school’s end of term Easter service, where students contributed through poetry, music, and a retelling of the resurrection. During Holy Week and the season of Easter, the Stations will go on display at St Matthias Church, Malvern.
School Chaplain, Ness Everitt, said:
“It has been wonderful to see these stations of the cross come alive, and to recognise all the effort our students have put into their creation. As well as re-telling the events of Jesus life in the lead up to the cross, they also tell an important story of the importance of our Church and School partnership, and how together we are able to support one another in creating opportunities for others to encounter and explore faith."

“We are so grateful for the creativity, care, and hard work of Art Club in creating these beautiful Stations of the Cross. It is a real blessing for us at Malvern Link with Cowleigh to host them at St Matthias Church during Holy Week and Easter.
These wonderful creations will help us draw near to God during this sacred season and deepen our devotional life, and it is especially meaningful that they will be shared between school and church for years to come.”
As these Stations of the Cross are shared between school and church, they invite all who encounter them to walk prayerfully through the story of Christ’s passion, to reflect on the depth of God’s love revealed at the cross, and to enter more fully into the hope of the resurrection, drawing the community closer to God during this holy season.
