2026 National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast

Christians in Parliament logoTim Farron MP and the Christians in Parliament APPG invite all clergy in the Diocese to ask their MP to accompany them to the 2026 National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast.

The Breakfast is being held on Tuesday 7 July from 7:30am to 9:00am in Westminster Hall in the Houses of Parliament.  The Breakfast is a great opportunity to pray for our parliament, government and politics, to build your relationship with your MP and to reflect upon the relevance of the Christian faith to our public life.

Our theme this year is ‘Hope for the future’ and the main speaker is Clare Williams-Sarpong.  Clare is the founder of Real Questions and an Associate Speaker at OCCA, The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Music and singing will be led by acclaimed vocalist and composer Ruth Naomi Floyd. After the main breakfast, there will be a programme of seminars as well as a dedicated event for church leaders later in the morning. For more information please visit: www.christiansinparliament.org.uk/prayer-breakfast/2026-programme/

A central aim of the event is for MPs and church leaders to attend together. Please invite your local MP to attend with you.  An example email invitation can be found here: tinyurl.com/CHLEAD26MP.  Due to high demand, we regret that at this stage, you can only buy a ticket if your MP confirms that they can attend with you.  Each MP can attend with up to two church leaders. If you’re waiting confirmation, or your MP cannot attend with you, please join the waiting list.

Thanks to donations, we are delighted to offer discounted tickets of £35 for church leaders. Please enter the following URL to book a ticket or to join the waiting list: tinyurl.com/NPB26CHL

If financial cost would prevent you from coming, please email: npb@biblesociety.org.uk. We have some bursaries to cover ticket price and accommodation in central London.
