Ahead of the general election, this is an opportunity to hear about how many of our systems are failing the most vulnerable and disadvantaged and what we can do about it by working together as a community.

Aimed at local church leaders, but open to all, Steve will speak to those gathered about investing in new and better ways that really improve people’s lives. He believes that we need a radical reset; one that empowers churches, local charities, grassroots movements and other faith groups, in a far more imaginative, less bureaucratic, more collaborative approach to community development. His book, Manifesto for Hope, sets out how to develop joined-up, cost-effective, community-empowering work, gleaned from the hard-won experience that has sat at the heart of Steve Chalke’s work over the last four decades.

There will be two opportunities to hear Steve’s Manifesto for Hope on Saturday 1 June – from 10am – 1pm or 2 – 5pm at Top Church in Dudley. During the session there will be an opportunity to think about how churches and others might take Steve’s principles forward through practical action. Tickets must be booked in advance on the Eventbrite links below.

Why not gather a group together from your church to come along!
