For anyone in mainstream parish churches who is interested in becoming better at talking about their faith, and especially anyone interested in leading this simple free course, Faith Pictures, in their parish to help people do so.

Faith Pictures is a six-week course devised by the Church Army intended to help ordinary Christians – and most of us find this quite hard – talk about what church means for them, where God is and has been in their lives, and how being a Christian matters to them. Bishop Robert Paterson and Canon Doug Chaplin are putting this course on in Worcester particularly for people who might then be able to lead it in their parishes. Both Robert and Doug had the same reaction when they first came across this material: “If this had been around when I was in parish ministry, I’d have wanted to try it in my parish.” They hope those who come to the course might feel the same. Two or three people (especially lay leaders) coming from the same parish might help you think about whether and how you might be able to lead it in your congregation.
