Faith at Work (formerly Worcestershire Industrial Mission) represents the church's concern with the world of work and the economy in Worcestershire. It works on behalf of all churches and particularly its sponsors: the Baptist Union, the Church of England, the Methodist, Roman Catholic, and United Reformed Churches. It works closely with the four other teams in the West Midlands: in the Black Country, Birmingham, Telford, and Coventry and Warwickshire.

Faith at Work attempts to cover a strategic spread of important and representative industries and organisations. Chaplains are concerned for the individuals who work in a workplace and also for the corporate health of the organisation. We also try to understand the economic forces affecting our area, and the effect these have on people and their work. We do this from a Christian perspective and attempt to interpret this aspect of the world to the church to enable the church and its members to engage more effectively with the significant impact work - or the lack of it - has on people's daily lives. We are currently engaged in work on faith and work and work/daily life issues with other departments in the diocese.
