Occasional specialist seminars are offered by the DAC eg architects conferences for those who do church quinquennial inspections

CAWS (Church Action within Society)
Currently planning conferences /training in the following areas:
- Knowing Your Place - a workshop to explore different ways of finding out about (researching) your locality and community
- Teenage Pregnancy - conferences (1 in Dudley, 1 in Worcestershire) to be organised with Jane Fraser for youth workers, clergy, etc.
- Criminal Justice - a conference in the very early planning stage and possibly a Prisons Sunday event
- Racial Justice - a 3 year programme of training expected to start later this year for clergy and OP staff
- Domestic Abuse - possible day for clergy but little demand indicated currently
