What's New?
July 2009 saw the appointment of the first adviser for the diocese of Worcester for vulnerable adults and disability issues. This is a new area of work for the church and all parishes need to be aware of this. Book your parish onto the awareness sessions published below.
October 2009 was the first meeting of the Safeguarding vulnerable adults management group this group is chaired by the Right Reverend David Walker the Bishop of Dudley, this group will govern the development of this key area of work.
The Diocesan Policy on Vulnerable adults
The policy for the Diocese is work which is currently in progress and should be completed middle of 2010.

Training
The Diocese is holding several awareness sessions during 2010, so that all clergy, PCC, and volunteers are aware of their role and responsibilities towards vulnerable adults in the parish.
