Harvest 2008
Harvest 2007 resources
The Farm Crisis Network (FCN) has produced a powerpoint presentation which can be used by churches during harvest. A pdf and powerpoint version can be downloaded below - if you need a version for Mac or would like more information please contact Robert Barlow.
The Arthur Rank Centre has also produced some harvest resources with the aim of helping children and young people understand better where their food comes from, introducing them to some of the people who are responsible for bringing food to their tables and to encourage thankfulness for all who are involved in the food chain (including God).

Plough Sunday : January 8 2006
A packed Claines church heard Rev Dr Gordon Gatward, director of the Arthur Rank Centre, preach on
Jesus said, 'No one who puts his hand to the plough and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God'.
Taking the theme of ploughing and relating it to the state of agriculture he said that we need to know where we have come from,
where we are now and where we are going. He said "We don't keep living in the past but we remember it and learn from it.
We look to the future in hope and faith. And we do both believing in the goodness and love of God that we can experience and enjoy today."
