Assistant Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser
As Assistant DSA, I will support Hilary Higton in the implementation of safeguarding policy, good practice and training, and assist with advice and straightforward casework, developing links with parishes.
I am a qualified teacher, originally with primary age children, but have also worked with adults delivering antenatal and parenting programmes. This led me into the world of family support work and safeguarding, most recently managing a team of Early Intervention Support workers in Worcestershire’s Children’s Centres and Early Help initiative.
I live in Bromsgrove with my husband David and four boys aged from 15 – 21. I was brought up in the Methodist Church and enjoy singing with the Birmingham Bach Choir, family times, and walking my two dogs.
