Diamond Jubilee New Testament
(12/04/2012)
The Church of England, alongside HOPE and Biblica, announce the creation of a souvenir Diamond Jubilee edition of the New Testament, to be given away in schools and churches, and at Diamond Jubilee events.
It is available at cost in boxes of 50 for £25.00. That's just 50p each!
Church House are also covering the cost of postage to make it possible for dioceses, cathedrals and churches to make them available free of charge at schools, Diamond Jubilee street parties, next to the 'Big Jubilee Thank You Letters' in Cathedrals, or in any other appropriate context.
About the Diamond Jubilee New Testament
The New Testament is the British NIV translation 2011 and has been gifted by Biblica with the actual text being gifted by Hodder and Stoughton.
It includes 8 pages of images from the Coronation and the Queen's life, linking her 60 year reign and her Christian faith.
There is a suggested reading section with bible references on various topics and a clear guide to help readers understand the significance of Jesus Christ's birth, life, death and resurrection.
