Reverend Dr Giles Fraser is priest-in-charge at St Mary's at the Elephant and Castle, Newington, former Canon Chancellor of St. Paul's Cathedral, Guardian columnist and regular presenter of BBC's 'Thought For The Day'. He will speak about the power of language in his current work.

Christopher Allsop (Worcester Cathedral) plays two historic organs: the original 1795 Gray and the reconstructed Tudor organ (the Wetheringsett).
Saturday 22nd June

Summer Concert with the Oakville Singers & Hallow School Children

St Philip & St James Church in Hallow, Nr Worcester WR2 6PW

Saturday June 22nd at 7.00pm

The superb Oakville Singers join with Hallow School Choir, Dancers and Band to present an evening of entertainment with a whole spectrum of music to enjoy. Refreshments will be available during the interval. Ticket cost is £6.00 for adults and children under 16 years are free of charge. Everybody is welcome to come along and join us.

Flower Festival

St. Thomas's Church, Market Street, Stourbridge, DY8 1AQ

Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June, 2013. Open Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday 11.30 am to 4 pm.

Flower Festival to raise funds for the continuing restoration of our Grade I listed Church building. Come and see fantastic flowers in a beautiful building. Entertainment on Saturday by Bevere Brass, Stourbridge Choir & Orchestra (choral) and Stourbridge Amateur Operatic Society and on Sunday by St. Thomas's Choir. Event ends with Songs of Praise at 6.30 pm on Sunday and sale of flowers.
