Orchestral Concert

Saturday 20th September 2014 at 7.30pm

12th Annual Concert by Inkberrow Sinfonia. The main work with visiting soloist Robert Pane is Weber's Clarinet Concerto No 2. Guest conductor is Richard Laing. Other works are Mozart's 40th Symphony, Prometheus Overture by Beethoven and Butterworth's 'The Banks of Green Willow'. Tickets 10 - can be purchased on the door. Proceeds in aid of the Chernobyl Children's Project and church fabric

Salwarpe Fete is an annual community event with stalls, sideshows, exhibitions, pony rides, W.I. teas in the Village Hall,Grand Raffle, Silent Auction, Tombolas, exhibition of classic and other interesting vehicles, West Mercia Police Brass Band and much more fun for all the family.

The Penultimate Curiosity is the enigmatic title given by Professor Andrew Briggs of Oxford University to his talk on whether the curiosity driving scientists to do their research is similar to that of people searching for truth in religion. There will be pauses for questions and comments. Free entry, free parking and coffee, but collection taken.
