Anyone aged between 11 and 20 is invited to the Old Palace (next to Worcester Cathedral) on Saturday 15 September to share worship and tea with other young Christians from across Worcestershire. This year’s Walk the Walk event will focus on the topic of prayer, and is an excellent opportunity to meet other young people as well as put your difficult questions to the Bishop of Dudley, the Rt Revd David Walker!

The event is organised by Worcester Diocese Youth Council. Chair Jon Morris says:  “Walk the Walk is always lots of fun and we’d encourage anyone to come along – whether you are a regular church-goer or are ‘just looking’. There are a wide range of different sessions for people to take part in, as well as ‘ice-breaker’ games and a time of worship.”

The event costs just £2 and anyone attending should also bring some food for the shared tea. The fun starts at 1pm and under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. “Everyone on the Youth Council is very excited about the event, but we need people to come from across the diocese to make it a success,” continued Jon. “Please have a look at the information on our website and let us know that you’ll be there.”
