The Public Diary for the Bishop of Dudley for October 2008

Sunday 5th in Dudley and Worcester

Am – Bishop David will preach and preside at the patronal festival of St. Francis’ Church in Dudley.

5pm – Bishop David will attend the installation of the new Archdeacon of Worcester, the Revd Roger Morris at Worcester Cathedral.

 

Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th in London

Bishop David will attend a meeting of the House of Bishops at Lambeth Palace

Friday 10th in Pershore Deanery

Bishop David will visit St. Barbara’s parish church in Ashton Under Hill.

Monday 13th in the Teme Valley

Bishop David will license the Revd John Summer as House for Duty Priest in the benefice of Clifton-on-Teme, Lower Sapey and the Shelsleys at All Saints’ Church in Shelsley Beauchamp.

Tuesday 14th in Stourbridge

Bishop David will license the Revd Rob Farman as Chaplain at the Mary Stevens Hospice.

Wednesday 15th in Dudley

Bishop David will attend a meeting of the Dudley MBC Standards Committee.

Thursday 16th in Birmingham

Bishop David will attend a meeting of the Police Chaplaincy Liaison Committee.

Sunday 19th in Malvern

Bishop David will lead a day around ‘praying with your senses’ at St. James’ Church.

Tuesday 28th in Birmingham

Bishop David will attend the consecration of the Rt. Revd Andrew Watson as the new Bishop of Aston.
