NEW APPOINTMENTS IN WORCESTER DIOCESE

The Revd Dr Pat Barford,  formerly a non-stipendiary priest at Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren has been licensed as Associate Minister at St Stephen's Church, Redditch

The Revd Billy Barnes , Priest in Charge of St Andrew's Netherton, has also been appointed Warden of Readers for the Dudley Archdeaconry.

The Revd Anton Bennett , at present Curate in the Pendleton Team Ministry in Manchester Diocese, has been appointed Rector of Abberton, The Flyfords, Naunton Beauchamp and Bishampton with Throckmorton. He succeeds the Revd David Hassell who retired. Mr Bennett will be licensed by the Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Revd Dr Peter Selby on Monday 15th August.

The Revd Jill Evans, has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of Clifton-on-Teme on a house for duty basis. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Revd Dr Peter Selby on 12th May.

The Revd David Nichol , at present Vicar of Powick and Guarlford and Madresfield with Newland, has been appointed Vicar of Malvern, Holy Trinity and St James. He succeeds the Revd Richard Rosoman.

The Revd Canon David Stanton , Vicar of St John's Bovey Tracey, Rural Dean of Morton and Acting Director of Ordinands in Exeter Diocese, has been instituted as a Residentiary Canon at Worcester Cathedral. Contact the Cathedral press office on 01905 28854 for further details.

The Revd Marjorie Stanton-Hyde , until recently Warden of Jesus Hospital, Canterbury, has been appointed part-time Chaplain to the Malvern Community Hospital. Mrs Stanton-Hyde has previously served as Rector of Hartlebury and as a non-stipendiary priest at Malvern Priory. She will be licensed in her new post on 19th April and can be contacted on 01684 569589.
