Messy Discipleship training eventTraining
Lucy Moore will help us keep discipleship the focus of Messy Church and other similar contexts.
As part of our growing support of Fresh Expressions of Church, we are delighted to have been able to book Lucy Moore to come and give us some input on how to keep discipleship the focus of Messy Church, and in other similar contexts such as Café Church. This will be an inspiring event for whole teams involved in leading Messy or Café churches across the diocese.
Exploring what discipleship means in a Messy Church context, what strategies are appropriate for growing discipleship among team members and families
Lucy Moore works for BRF as the Messy Church team leader. She is responsible for developing the work of Messy Church nationally and internationally—writing, speaking, reflecting and developing Messy projects. She continues to help lead the local Messy Church in her own church, where her husband is the minister.
Before working full-time with Messy Church, Lucy was a member of BRF's Barnabas team, offering training for those wanting to bring the Bible to life for children in churches and schools across the UK, and using drama and storytelling to explore the Bible with children.
Lunch will be provided, so booking for this event is essential.
